GRM open second facility in the United Arab Emirates

Four years ago, in January 2014, Glenbeigh Records Management (GRM) officially opened its records management facility in Dubai South. Since then the company has grown rapidly and has secured 100+ new clients. With strong demand for our records management services and continued growth forecast, the decision was taken to further expand the company’s capabilities within the region with the construction of a second records management facility.

Similar to GRM’s first facility, this bespoke facility was planned, designed and constructed by our sister company Glenbeigh Construction to the highest standard for advanced records management. It has the capacity to store an additional one million standard archive boxes and is equipped with leading security and fire protection infrastructure including electric gates; external and internal CCTV; intruder alarms; biometric swipe cards; fire protection equipment; an in-rack sprinkler system; reservoir; and backup generator.

With business continuity plans becoming increasingly important for organisations and innovation to the forefront of everything we do, GRM incorporated business continuity suites into the facility design. These purpose-built suites lay the foundation for us to develop a complete business continuity service offering that can be tailored to individual client requirements.

The facility opened for operations in January 2018. It was a momentous occasion for all in GRM, both in terms of highlighting the company’s success in the region to date and representing the start of the next chapter of GRM’s development within the region.
